Decent value, quick delivery

Needed a CAD solution but didn't want to pay AutoCAD's subscription. Found ActCAD Standard and decided to try it. The perpetual license discount made it really attractive. Download and activation were surprisingly fast, got started the same day. It does everything I need for basic 2D drafting. Was a bit worried about compatibility but my DWG files opened fine. Felt like a smart purchase for the money I saved.

Consistent performance

This was my third purchase from ActCAD, upgraded to ActCAD Prime this time. Like before, the download was instant and the license activated without a hitch. I've always found their software reliable for my civil engineering work. The interface is familiar, which is a big plus. Support chats have improved since my first buy, usually quicker now. Happy to keep coming back.

Good for the price

I bought ActCAD 2024 Professional. The software itself is solid, works well for my architectural drawings. Installation was straightforward. My only issue was the technical support; took a day to get a response for a minor license query. Still, for a perpetual license, it's good value.

Nah, it's totally legit. I've been using it for a couple years now, mostly 2D stuff but some 3D too. It's built on IntelliCAD, like a lot of those alternatives. Feels pretty solid.

Can confirm, it's real. Used it at my last job. Works fine with DWG files from AutoCAD too, which was a big plus for collaboration. Way cheaper than Autodesk's subscription fees, that's for sure.

Quick question about the licenses. It says perpetual, but does that mean I never have to pay again, ever? Or is there like, an annual maintenance fee I'm missing?

Yeah, it's a true perpetual license for the version you buy. You own it. If they release a new major version, you'd pay to upgrade if you want the new features, but the one you have keeps working. Not like AutoCAD's subscription model.

You can get a maintenance plan if you want, but it's optional. It usually covers updates within your purchased version and maybe some priority support, afaik. But the core license is yours forever if you don't upgrade.
